The Telangana state government has put 3,718 Rajiv Swagruha pads in Bandlaguda (Nagole) and Pocharam (Ghatkesar) in the city available to be purchased. The e-closeout will be held day by day from August 7 to 17.
Lodging priest A. Indrakaran Reddy went by Bandlaguda pads on Friday to dispatch the online deal. Pads at Chandanagar, Jawaharnagar and Gajularamaram would be sold later. "Pads can be acquired through online open offering from August 7 to 17. Around 2,244 pads in Bandlaguda and 1,474 pads in Pocharam are on offer. We hope to procure Rs 900 crore," he said.
In Bandlaguda, 316 pads are prepared for occupation while there are parity works in the other 1,928. Purchasers need to pay for the rest of the work," Mr Reddy included. In Poch-aram, 969 pads are prepared and 505 semi-wrapped up.
"Because of the carelessness of the past Congress governments, a great many pads are lying empty or remained semi-completed because of which the legislature has endured overwhelming budgetary misfortunes. The Chief Minister has guided us to put these pads available to be purchased at moderate rates so that the white collar class can profit the advantage," Mr Reddy included.
Realty specialists said the costs were on the higher side. "Costs are comparable to the rates of new pads, while these are seven years of age," said Mr C. Shekar Reddy, past president, Credai.
